Looks nice. Lot of heartwood there. Do they offer oval handles? Also if your willing would you please tell us how much you paid so we have a point of reference for comparing to similarly priced alternative bats?

Got my 2nd Champ LE today ( first one I am selling on ebay as it was concaved much) as I knew willow is such high class with beauty in pressing , looks totally full of power this stick with huge edges/meaty/no concaving and within weight its such a nice feel and pickup like dream for me. ping from mallet top class.

Champ sports India?

I dare you to give the toe a good whack with a mallet!

Also that bat is concaved

its slighty concaved that all bats are, it has a meaty blade. I have 10 bats this is thickest blade so far.

ok far enough I haven't seen the other 9... but it isnt really slightly concaved either it is more then slightly concaved

Nice looking profile though

There are some bats with much less concaving than this (e.g. Mjolnir) and you said this had "no concaving".

I like the look of the grains but the edges are oversized for me to really like. I prefer a more traditional profile but each to his own.

no concaving I meant in the blade, slightly concaved ( from spine)  as you can expect from a thick edges

You've completely lost me but the most important thing is that you're happy

The Mjolnir does not have concaving, nor do a lot of Asian bats, however this is the current shape that nearly every bat maker has and when done well it looks very good.

The concaving is medium in my book, to the back, not the face, yet to see one hollow yet, Laver getting close.
