Since we all know SG makes bats for Kookaburra... surely there must be a realtively cheaper/similar bat from SG.
Just wondering if anyone got one?
-
I think it is the Sierra 250 or something, they cost about £100.

The Sierra 250s I've seen all seem to be big bats for the weight. (They've also been making them for a while now, so the "ghost shape" isn't as new as you'd think)
They're bargains if they're the same shape as a ghost or not

Sierra 250 are top value for money
Big bats , less concaving and very well priced

Up until last year there were only 2 models by SG that were bigger, fuller in shape in lighter feel-
SIERA 250 (approx 70 pounds in India) and SIERA 350 (95 pounds) - middle of the range considering the whole SG range
This year many SG bats are fuller in profile- some even cheaper bats being made in fuller shape!
-
All the SG models this year looks to be fuller and thicker but they look obviously smaller at the face width of the bat. Dont know if its the same case with Kook too?

@Shortpitch The Ghost tapers slightly from the edge backwards
-
wow..IMO smaller face, tapered edge - backwards are over ratted / illusions. For last two seasons I was using 2.9 -2.10 scalloped bats and don't remember hitting may sixes (it was not the case before).
Could be a coincidence...I moved to a full profile 2.11 bat and hit 3 of them with out any fuss. I say, pump some iron and get a proper cricket bat :)
