Title: Bats with low middle
Post by: norman1979 on May 19, 2016, 10:11:37 AM
I am currently on the look out for a bat with a low middle to join my armoury ;). Does anybody know of any specific brands or models who have a lower than usual middle?

Hi Norman,

I have a Kook 800 Verve winging it's way to me in the post, will be here tomorrow. Will happily put some pics onto this thread. I believe that model has a lower middle

A few of the B3 pro shapes have low middles too, Gaz Cross shape is pretty low as is no 18 which a team mate of mine has just ordered.

Yup he's right, I have the Gaz Cross and its low'ish but picks up beautifully. Here's a pic of the different Custom shapes B3 do, you'll be able to see which ones are low.

Interested then I'd speak to Dave (A.k.a Streaky) @B3

The MH96 looks SSuspiciously like the TON Power Blaster which also has a very low middle, for half the price.

I've always thought the ST profile was low.

Try also the Affinity Spectre.

Kookaburra are maybe the only manufacturer who don't do a bat with a notably low middle? Pick a company you like, have a search around to see what their low middle offering is and if they get good reviews, job done!

Hi @norman1979. We've got plenty in stock in a range of weights and budgets from a number of brands. Benefit of coming to a retailer is you'll get to find something you'll like from a wide range of companies.

All suggestions on here will get you a great bat, but I'd be doing my job wrong if I didn't believe in our bats to be the best!

Drop me a PM if we can help you, good luck in the hunt!

B&S Supremes, all 3 which have passed through my hands have all made it to my top 5 bats for driving. Other 2 are Hawk and Blue Room. Gonna pop up a review of my current B&S sometime today, managed to give it a go in the middle and in nets!

If you're after a larger brand, the GM Maxi and one of the Slazenger models would be my go to! Probably avoid Kookaburra and CA, excellent bats, but their middles tend to be more mid to high. (With Kookaburra, depends how low you're looking for)

Is that boutique a sponsor now then?
Or is he just benefiting from some free marketing at the moment
