Title: Boundary game.
Post by: L21 on May 21, 2016, 08:22:21 AM
Morning all,

Does anyone know what the game is called where the waiting batsman walk round the pitch with a ball and see who can get the ball closest to the marker. It's a bit like bowls!

Saw a team playing it last week, looked like a good way to waste time!

What are the rules?

I will probably get slaughtered now for being village!

Boundary Bowls.

Rules are fairly simple, closest to the flag wins the point, if it goes onto the outfield ball is counted as dead. Whoever has the most points at the end wins.

We like to call it Rolf (Rolling Golf) Or another boundary game is, everyone takes a bat and a ball and you see who can hit the flag in the least amount of shots. Be careful not to hit too hard as it may damage the toe. :) Enjoy!

Love this game! Normally play 1 point for closest to the flag, winner takes all.

Great game! Good for wasting time during premier league games
