Just seen this on twitter, should be some monster bats coming out shortly!

10% is alot of weight. Can only be moisture. If it is true it begs the question are they now ahead of the competition or are just catching up? Really needs a willow specialist to answer.
-
Its effectively saving around 4oz, so a bat that would have been 2lb12oz can now be made in the same size at 2lb8oz. Madness
-
If its not to over dried I am interested.
-
Interesting fact..
-
Anyone else really annoyed about the comma straight after the exclamation point?
-
I've been over today to pick up more willow, the blades aren't over dried. They are roughly 9 to 10% all the way through the blade so I think inline with wrights etc.

just wondering
How you can tell what the moisture content is inside the bat

There's probes in the centre of a certain percentage of clefts which give out a digital reading. Simple really. Those clefts are then dissuaded.

Dissauded from what? A meaningful relationship with a batsman?

"discarded"
Haha

Depends if the name of the bat is the 'Colossus' or 'Colossus!'
-
This is pretty insane .... Guess every single bat they crank out now will compete with GN 50 mm edge ??
-
Theyre hardly small to start with, so if theyre going to be extra light/bigger bats then maybe
-
Hope the reduce the cost by 10% too. ;)

No, life's too short.
Just smile smugly if you like and move on.
