10% is alot of weight. Can only be moisture. If it is true it begs the question are they now ahead of the competition or are just catching up? Really needs a willow specialist to answer.

Its effectively saving around 4oz, so a bat that would have been 2lb12oz can now be made in the same size at 2lb8oz. Madness

I've been over today to pick up more willow, the blades aren't over dried. They are roughly 9 to 10% all the way through the blade so I think inline with wrights etc.

How you can  tell what the moisture content is inside the bat

There's probes in the centre of a certain percentage of clefts which give out a digital reading.  Simple really. Those clefts are then dissuaded.
