Title: Which profile
Post by: LEACHY48 on June 03, 2016, 08:06:19 PM
Okay so I figured I would put this out there to gather opinions.

I am in the process of buying a new bat but I am undecided on the profile I want.

Currently my match bat is a TON ex pro bat with a traditional Indian shape with a mid low middle  big edges and no concaving with a duck bill toe. But I notice that I keep hitting the ball high up the bat as well as in the middle - I really like the shape of an MC profile but not sure that would have enough meat high up.

Any profiles spring to mind that have a mid or mid-low middle with meat up high?

Cheers

Trott profile would fit the bill

H4l, Hellfire, NV or Devil..  you won't go wrong with any of these.

Australian made Impala bats. Pendulum or Players model should suit you.
Mid to high sweet spot and great pickup.

H4l NV would be a good place to go as it has a mid -high middle!

I would highly recommend Charlie French, I have 2 were fantastic value, play beautifully and he is a really nice, knowledgeable and interesting chap, who should be much higher rates in these circles than he is. One of the unheralded heroes of the bat making world I believe.
