Does anyone know if you can buy black cricket turf shoes? My white Nike Lunar's are looking a little grubby and since our tracksuit bottoms are black, I'd kinda like them to match... Had a quick look online and everything is either white or luminescent green...
I'd look at normal trainers, but I'm just worried about Yorkers etc, used to bat in Lacoste tennis pumps and got one on the back heel... Rather avoid that again! Anyone know any good trainers for netting?

If it is black you want then go for some football astroturf shoes, in my experience you can find ones that are much better than any cricket shoe (stronger leather, better grip etc.). I don't use them for cricket as I don't like the black which is vain I know but from what I read vanity is a common trait amongst people here ;).

Puma grass cats or similar would do the trick.

Puma King. Or the Adidas equivalent - the astro-turf version of the World Cup football boot.

Thanks for the suggestions. The reason I was looking for cricket shoes/boots was the added protection around the toe box. The extra protection of the Lunar Potentials does make them a bit bulky though, so I might be doing myself s favour getting regular trainers.

Get some cheap cricket boots and get a blackout kit from www.tootsboots.co.uk (http://www.tootsboots.co.uk), or send them to them to sort. I did the DIY kit with some old football boots and they came out really well

The name of the Adidas shoe is Mundial Team.
