I am in need of a new duffle.
After looking around for a while I've decided
Either the gunn and moore original duffle
Or the Gray nicholls Supernova.
Has anyone purchased either and what are the views on them.
I've looked at the kook duffle but doesn't do it for me

Hi,
I have the GN Supernova. You can't go wrong with it, excellent duffle.
-
Depends on your needs. I've got the GM Duffle, it's well made and nicely organised, but not big enough for a wicket keeper really. GN Supernova seems to be all things to all men, but a little more expensive.

I've got the Gray Nicolls Supernova, it's a fantastic bag and has plenty of space for kit. In my bag I carry 3 bats, 3 pairs of gloves, Aero P1 thigh pads, helmet, batting pads all internally/in the bat compartment. Externally I carry 3 pairs of Oakley sunglasses, bat repair and maintenance equipment, medical supplies such as freeze sprays, gels etc. I also carry other random accessories such as sweatbands, glasses cleaning kit and cold clothing eg club beanie. I could fit two pairs of boots in the duffle but I only keep one pair in the duffle itself as I put my match pair in my sorts bag so they don't get squashed as much.
I would highly recommend the Supernova as it carries plenty of kit and allows you to set it up how you like it rather than other ruffles only really working one way

would definatly reccommend the supernova duffle, 1 of the best pieces of kit iv bought this season.. plenty of room for all your kit, well padded and very comfortable when carrying it around, good quality materials used also so should last a while
-
Another call for the Supernova. I'm a keeper and it fits everything I need.
-
Anyone used the black and gold B&S duffle? Best looking one out there, IMO.
-
Both are good bags from what I've seen, worth considering the Red Ink duffle if you haven't already
-
Team supernova here

Looks like the next time I'm in Sheffield I'm off to all rounder for a supernova duffle.
Thanks for the advice and tips guys

I got mine from @Vitas Cricket mate, top service and Jake's a decent chap. I may be slightly biased towards them given All Rounder wanting me to pay postage on a return when then sent me the wrong size, but still.....

B&S have a huge duffle bag

I had a Kook kd5000 but wasnt impressed, so went down the Supernova route and its awesome!

I upgraded from the GN1000 duffle to the supernova last week. Same dimensions but much better design. I can fit my keeping stuff in comfortably and as I only have 2 bats I also found room for a flexible stump and fielders practice bat for warm ups. It is good to have some depth to the smaller pockets which means you can actually put quite a bit of stuff in there. Water bottle pocket is also a nice touch, I didn't like carrying my bag on my shoulders then in my hands a drink, bananas etc.

GM Duffle out of stock at the warehouse so sold well. The GN Duffle is the alternative. Both great.

+1 on B&S Duffle.

Slim pickings on duffle bags over here in Australia, but GCCC are stocking the 2015 model of the GM Original Duffle.
I picked one up today to take to training and it is much larger than I had anticipated. It is only ever so slightly smaller than my GN Legend Bag and my Gabba (Club custom) bag which has surprised me.
I have 2 bats, pads, thighpad, 2 x gloves and helmet in there atm with plenty of room, plus I haven't even put anything in the top section. Within the bag there would easily be room for another 3 sets of gloves or all your clothes or you could use the top compartment for that. Pretty pleased and will be very handy as I will cycle to training now.

Is the Supernova in stock anywhere?
-
I have a supernove and had the Kook before hand and they are great if you have the minimum amount of kit but if you have a bit of a collection then you are constantly taking kit out and putting it on and carrying a separate bag for your whites
SuperNova is the best but I'm now on the lookout for a quality tri-level stand up.

@langer17 Good work mate. I picked up the GM, top of the line duffle from SD in their recent sale. I was never a duffle fan but thought I'd give it a try for a discount price. It's enormous. I'm very pleased for the price paid.
Interesting that duffles haven't caught on in Aus yet. Very few/ low quality offerings from Australian retailers.

Supernova is very good.

Blank Bats duffles due to hit our shores in a couple of weeks.
I'll have a few in stock for any fellow Aussies after them. :)
