Post by: potzy248 on June 13, 2016, 01:34:23 AM
Just saw a bat on eBay OZ and looked up the website. Bats look pretty good IMO and the "Arma" has min 50mm edges.

I think the arma looks more like the Newbery Blitz rather than the mh
Also it does say minimum weight of 2.12 rather than the 2.9 it whatever Millichamp and hall say they have the NC in

Not sure about the name, but the kit looks good, the softs are very similar to the Grove stuff Voges uses.

Asking for female models to promote the brand rings a few alarms for me, trying to use sex to sell over the quality of the product is not my idea of good marketing.

Sorry for reviving an old thread , but...

I just bumped into their website today . Bullion Bats , that is .
I noticed their old stickers not only had a blank bats style b but also the splice sticker . They've since changed it , perhaps bb has scared them off , they had a moment of ethically clarity , genuine mistake ( but i doubt this ) ,not sure.
Like Ulysses,  these guys create an impression that they make their own bats too ( well , their bespoke service creates that impression to me ) .

One cool thing though : have a look at their 'featherlite' pads..... exactly the same as morrants , but with added fibre insert in the internal bolster section . Pity , they don't seem to make them in large mens though . Having said that , for a number of reasons , id still get another pair of morrants ( @ $230) instead of these ( @$180 + shipping) even though it'd cost me more . But , for any aussies wanting morrants at a cheaper price it might be a goer .
