First photos are of the scorches- middle one is 2-11, rest are 2-10
The tendulkar profile ones are from l-r, first 3 2-10, last 2 are 2-10 1/2

Saw these today and tapped them up. Yes there storm damaged and a gamble but they certainly ping. A couple of the 2.11 ones were guns

Oh God! You don't expect us to read all the posts in a thread do you? Especially the first ones - they're like, totally miles away!

:)
potentially good deals here, it's a gamble but worth taking as they may last a season, and as I found out to my cost.....storm damage is not always noticed when buying any bat form any manufacturer.

Got my st profile storm damaged bat yesterday. Frankly I am quite stunned. I somehow had never considered buying a b and s bat before this came up, however the tap up is right up there. Will definitely be buying another as soon as this snaps. Amazing bat.

Received this last night , not sure how i can tell these are storm damage looking at the bats :) .. They are 2.8 and 2.10 , one with purple grip is 2.8 and white is 2.10 .

Sorry been away on personal Buiness there are some Storm damage bats left in both shapes and various weights let me know your preference I will try to assist you
-
Could you perhaps stick some photos up of the remaining Bats? Those 2 above look awesome
-
Some more storm damaged sticks from Gary. Got some superb reviews from these, many have faced hundreds of balls without any damage at all. These three are an absolute steal for £80 a piece.
The profile is that of the new Scorch shape for next season.

Hi . I sent a message ( not sure if it worked or not ) . Im interested in buying 2 storm damaged bats . My hope/preferences are scorch profile . In message i sent i stated preferably 2lb7-2lb8ish - but if i can only get heavier ie 2lb10 or so im still interested (id take them to a local bat maker for a weight reduction ) . If someone could get back to me re availability and approx shipping to Sydney Au that would be great . Thanks .

Camembert - really? This is surely becoming an addiction!! :)
Some people are addicted to drugs, I like buying bats then selling them on for a loss when I realise I have too many. As far as addictions go mine isn't doing anyone any harm and it keeps me off the street! ;)

what is storm damage and how can it effect a bat by the way?

what is storm damage and how can it effect a bat by the way?
Windy conditions cause some trees(ones without wind protection) to blow, bending and moving excessively, this create small weak points in the willow.
On a bat this manifest itself as small lines. Visible to a trained Person.
It can weaken the blade to a point it will snap on impact(I.e carberry in the ashes, Plunkett recently in dramatic fashion. But on other occasions it will last a few years and never give issues.
A gamble some will take for a cut down price, as they do tend to perform well up until the inevitable.

Thank you for that Smiley
