Gday,

Would you send a bat to Australia? if so what would be the extra cost.

Do you do small mens bats?

I think the postage costs are around £40, and a small mens bat is not a problem at all.  Have a look at the G1+ clefts a couple of bargains for someone.

If you can find the company who can post for around 20 pounds then let me know as it would be helpful for me in the future

Sending a single bat is very expensive, send 2 or more and the price per bat comes down quite nicely.

Personally i only use royal mail as a very, very, very, very last resort (i.e all other courier companies have been blown up by a suspect package, discountinued trading or something along those lines).  They lose far to much stuff, claiming on the insurance is a nightmare and takes ages, they also dont take very good care of packages.  Thats based on me sending stuff in this county, i dread to think what they are like at sending abroad!!!

I cannot remember what the overseas service is called but have sent 60/70 bats this year by Special Delivery in UK and about 5/6 to Australia. All have been perfect, also sent about 100+ packets and parcels First Class Recorded, again 100% perfect.

Royal Mail with Airsure (£500 insurance and tracking) is by far the cheapest when I've looked. Talisman mentioned it earlier in the thread costs around £23-£24

i have sent a bat via royal mail airmail to the states and i think it was around £17 but that was before prices had gone and that covered £500 if i remember rightly and that took 3 days so 47.99 is alot imo

Hell4leather,
To be honest I have used this service a few times as a last resort it took 13 days to arrive, not the best service, DHL do a service for about £35 and it took only 5 days.,

Mike, how did you get on at the post office. I have used international royal mail and it costs £38 and takes 6-8 weeks which is hopeless and very expensive.

Your advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
