Gday,
Would you send a bat to Australia? if so what would be the extra cost.
Do you do small mens bats?
-
He does do small mens bats i think...
For postage to aus dont hold me to this as its a guestimate i rekon about £35
But maybe im wrong
-
I think the postage costs are around £40, and a small mens bat is not a problem at all. Have a look at the G1+ clefts a couple of bargains for someone.
-
40 pound?
I heard it was more around 20.. but shame about that.. 40 pounds just a fair bit to much for me.. cheers though.
-
If you can find the company who can post for around 20 pounds then let me know as it would be helpful for me in the future
-
I have looked at sending bats down to Aus, I have seen no cheaper than £40

Sending a single bat is very expensive, send 2 or more and the price per bat comes down quite nicely.

Postage to Australia is £23 at your Post Office, includes full insurance and tracking numbers.

Which service is this using Mike?
-
Personally i only use royal mail as a very, very, very, very last resort (i.e all other courier companies have been blown up by a suspect package, discountinued trading or something along those lines). They lose far to much stuff, claiming on the insurance is a nightmare and takes ages, they also dont take very good care of packages. Thats based on me sending stuff in this county, i dread to think what they are like at sending abroad!!!

Is Royal mail your post office thingo?

Is Royal mail your post office thingo?
Yeah, is it Australia Post you have?
-
Yeah, Australia post is what we have. Works fine for us..
-
I cannot remember what the overseas service is called but have sent 60/70 bats this year by Special Delivery in UK and about 5/6 to Australia. All have been perfect, also sent about 100+ packets and parcels First Class Recorded, again 100% perfect.
-
can anyone recommend a postal service to oz?
-
Royal Mail with Airsure (£500 insurance and tracking) is by far the cheapest when I've looked. Talisman mentioned it earlier in the thread costs around £23-£24
-
got a qoute from th post office for int standard parcels ,£47.99 with insurance ,anyone used this service?
-
How much are you posting? Just the one bat?
-
i have sent a bat via royal mail airmail to the states and i think it was around £17 but that was before prices had gone and that covered £500 if i remember rightly and that took 3 days so 47.99 is alot imo
-
Hell4leather,
To be honest I have used this service a few times as a last resort it took 13 days to arrive, not the best service, DHL do a service for about £35 and it took only 5 days.,
-
I'm sending 2 bats tomorrow to Australia so will let you know the price.
-
Cheers Mike
-
Mike, how did you get on at the post office. I have used international royal mail and it costs £38 and takes 6-8 weeks which is hopeless and very expensive.
Your advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Kieron
