Hi Everyone,
Recently joined this forum and I am really excited. I am playing for SCC at the moment, currently looking to buy a new Bat. Previously, I was looking to buy Gray Nicolls but now I have noticed bats prices gone down and I am thinking to buy Slazenger V1000 Fusion. I am bit confused, shall I go with Slazenger V1000 Fusion (£49) or V1000 G3 (£70)? what's the difference? Also, Which GM and Gray Nicolls bat is better under £100 price range?

Performance might not equal looks
The only chance you have of getting the right bat is to go and pick some up in the shop and get a sense of how they feel.
Willow is graded, the higher the grade the more the price... is a general rule of thumb so fusion is a lower grade than G3. At 100 your options are limitless... go a pick some bats up and take it from there

Thanks Everyone for the advise.
I have been away from cricket from almost 8 years and recently started playing, that's why wondering what kind of bats are more popular in UK. I remember in India we used to play with Kashmir willows which even last long because English Willows was more like luxury for us :P There are sales going on where all bats price reduced now. Now I am wondering which Company bat should I trust? Slazenger, Gray Nicolls, GM or Kookaburra.
