Title: Advice on handle repair
Post by: thedon on August 09, 2016, 09:11:46 AM
Any help appreciated? Does this warrant a new handle? Played with this on sat...didnt feel right, changed the bat mid innings...new bat didnt feel right either lol. Upon flexing the crack seems to open up alittle. Other side is clean.

Probably worth getting a new handle, prevention is the best medicine and all that (although playing a shot and being left with just the handle in your hand, while the bat flies off further than the ball goes will always have some comedy value).

Also, that grip needs sorting out!  ;)

Not quite through to the back yet  crack  opens up   its starting  to break  hence increased flex you could do the ping test hit  a ball and listen to the sound of the blade.
