Title: There is fire in Hell.
Post by: Woodyspin on August 15, 2016, 08:19:02 PM
So after much deliberation on what shape I wanted and emailing Jake at @Vitas Cricket he came to me with an instant alternative of the NV he already had in stock, it was Long Blade 2'10 exactly what I wanted, now i'll be honest i nearly couldn't sleep try to think about what shape I exactly wanted and what stickers I liked the best. In the end I went for this B E A UUUUUU TIFULLY ballanced stick that has been the best i've picked up for years, comparing it to the bats i picked up in my local retailer, they all felt bottom heavy and for bats of the same weight this feels far far lighter than I thought (cue cliche, it feels around 2'8 )...

Even though i probably pissed Jake off with my impatience I'm so happy with what has been produced by the guys at H4L from the very start of the process right up until i've received it the quality is top notch, one very minor issue would be a transport/ maybe packaging (more likely transport issue with the tiniest of knocks on the spine.

Now I took quick measurements at work edges are 35mm, spine 60mm from a quick look, and I don't own a tape measure or ruler at home. Also weighs in a bit heavier as I have scuff, stickers and toe guard on it... and 2oz isnt alot.

PUI if i've measured it correctly is 5.72

I am not the worlds greatest h4l fan, but that really looks good for a grade 2. Best of luck with it.

Great looking bat I'm a real fan of h4l bats. The hellfire is the best pick up I think(I've got an NV which I like) and the grade 2's are great value.

Tend to be very white will which tend to go very well.
Not sure why his would be but if I'm looking for one tend to go for one that looks like this one.
 :)

You won't repent the choice. When i got my first H4L HellFire, i pinged a ball on it and was skeptical of its performance claims. Having used it for 2 years i can say for sure its a gun bat and performs really well. If you maintain it well then you won't need to buy another bat for 2-3 years (i am probably going get banned for suggesting someone to not buy more bats  :D)

Yep might send my scoop to Matt for some professional care, i did my bit on it at the beginning of the season but im sure he would do a fantastic job with it.
