Watch the ball on to the stick? Seems to be getting pinned on the feet far too often

That's awesome. Hope I'm still willing and able to net at 72.
Curious, did he play at a good grade in his younger days?

He played a decent club standard at Marlow and I think the odd game for Bucks, or was in the minor county setup.

Old dogs are best at new tricks, get him watching Jos Buttler youtube training videos on the scoop!

I was using a paceman lid edition (softballs) at roughly 14/15 yards set to level 9. Since a paceman gets up to 60mph max. So 9/10ths of 60mph is 54mph and times by one third for the shorter distance I'm guessing the first video was approx 70mph. The second one was level 7 as he complained he doesn't face anything that quick in Marlow 3's so it was nearer 55mph I guess.

lol, he enjoyed me giving him bouncers! Benefits of the softer paceman balls, you can practise stuff like that without fear of injury.

Harsh feeding him constant Yorkers !!!

Was trying to set it up for half volleys lol, couldn't get it quite right.
He's still playing on a Saturday, took 4-47 bowling spin a few weeks ago. Was a bit surprised as he's hardly bowled spin in his life, let alone 13 overs of it. He's on about a new bat and kit for next season as well. That will be his third comeback lol

get him on the forum. that amount of knowledge about cricket can only be good. Plus new bat = CBF. something with a 50MM edge should suit.
looks good for 72. are we still going to be playing at that age I wonder...

Wow, this is so inspiring. Im only 38 , but feel like I'm in my late sixties or something. If I manage to play at 72 it will be a minor miracle !
