Title: Suggestions on handles
Post by: Caughtatslip on August 27, 2016, 01:57:30 PM
I currently use two GMs, both of which I find the handles too flexible and that they are taking the power out of my shots.  I was wondering is you could suggest a brand that has a very firm handle.

Always thought pros tended to favour more flex in their handles?

How old are the bats, if they are a few years old or more the glue in the handle between the canes may have started to weaken and the handle delaminate, if that's the case this will happen to almost every bat over time and the simple way to get less flex would the canes reglued or a new handle

Personally I prefer it when my handles have started to flex, find it gives me more power if anything!

Batmakers have been trying for years to stiffen handles as stiffer handles equal more power Due to less vibration IE titanium carbon rods graphite carbon at the bats stress point and Fibre glass at the back of the bat.
