Title: Gilliepie to leave Yorkshire
Post by: Felix Tito on August 29, 2016, 08:17:45 AM
Old Dizzy is back off down under to move closer to his family. Perhaps opening the door to replace Lehmann...

Thanks Dizzy.

Turned us around in 3 seasons, shame he couldn't crack the short format stuff.

dunno, two semi finals this year is pretty decent when you consider the restraints that losing Root, Bairstow, Willey, Rashid and Plunkett to "Team England" puts on him.

It's a shame coaching some 2020 team is more attractive than county cricket. He seems a good coach though, shame to lose him from the county set up.

Or, if you'd bothered to read the article, he's moving back to Australia to be with his family... not because it's 'more attractive to coach some 2020 team than county cricket'...

Why read when he can just have his generic t20 hit and giggle keyboard bashing session.
