hey guys me and my house mate are wanting to have a go at making a few bats were located in australia who can help me we want grade 1 or 2 but something with plus about 10 grains

Great idea, Mike.
But wouldn't you rather start out on lower grade willow, or do you have some transferable skills?

Don't know too much of the Australian market. But maybe direct an inquiry to a smaller aussie based batmaker? Bradbury, jp gavan?

Probably worth getting in touch with some of the smaller boutique makers in aus, grant cricket are worth a try

Should go for a lower grade cleft to start off with.

me and my mate have made about 5 bats before we just looking for better grades we would like to buy from england as we have found buying from people in aus they charge 2 much

John @Red Ink Cricket does part made clefts. Not sure on sending to Oz but sure it is something that could happen....
