Title: Mens pads for skinny legs
Post by: KPittman on September 13, 2016, 08:51:10 AM
So I've been using a pair of Vantage pads for the last 4/5 seasons that I can't rate highly enough, but my only issue is that I've got very slim legs and the pads are held on by the very ends of the velcro. I'm 5'10 so not short by any means, just very lean so was wondering if there were companies out there whose pads come up slightly tighter or any other recommendations?

Thanks

Talk to @Vitas Cricket about TON pads, I've found the straps on them very, very short. It may be the ones you get for the Indian market (ie from Online stockist), but he may be able to measure the straps for you.

Bloody nice pads though!

I got some Gray Nics XP70 1200 pads (in New Zealand) and these come with shorter straps and conform to my skinny legs really well.

Mate of mine can only use Puma pads for that exact same reason... And that Puma generally use super lightweight materials and he already doesn't like to run as it is :o

I would say, better to work your legs!

I struggle because my one calf is only 50% the size of the other due to surgery. So one pad is snug, the loose as puuh

I have a pair of Puma Flextechs which I wear without the extra padding. They might be hard to find but would be wearing one with and one without the removable protection work for you.

I wouldn't say they're bulky and are pretty lightweight even with the removable padding.
