Title: Do any companies offer a finance way of payment?
Post by: 19reading87 on September 15, 2016, 08:19:26 AM
So....

With my season now over and going through (selling) stuff I don't need, I have decided that next season I will need a new bat, pads, gloves and bag, with it all being one brand. Obviously I'd want to get this stuff sooner rather and later so I can start knocking in the bat etc. Now, naturally I'm in no position to lay a fair ammount out straight away in one go on kit so wondered if any companies offered a service where you could pay something like £50 a month till it was all payed off. Now if you brought £400s worth of kit that would be paid off before the season started, last payment in April.

Cheers

I'd say it would be hard because you could use all the kit and then the payment plan falls through and they lose out on kit. The risk is entirely on their end.

I imagine you'll be able to pay one of the sponsors on a monthly basis and they send the kit when they get the final payment?

?? Interest free Credit Card would actually save you money rather than getting a loan for it?

Get a 0% credit card.
You can't ask a retailer to act as your bank.

All Rounder aren't providing any finance. It's a loan from a finance company which pays all rounder in full immediately, you then pay the finance company off. Rematch Sports were the forum sponsor on here who offered it too, didn't work out by the look of it. http://www.rematchsports.co.uk/ (http://www.rematchsports.co.uk/)

We are happy to take a deposit on any goods for 2017 with the balance payable in whatever format you like. I've had some customers pay a small amount every week/month for a period of time, or just as a lump sum prior to dispatch when the kit is ready.

What do you think a finance agreement is?

The 0% credit card is by far the best option, never understand why people are so afraid of using credit cards/loans etc. Used properly they're a perfectly legitimate option.
