Just a little bit curious to see people's opinions now the blade length option has entered retail.
Will it change people's thinking?
or just increase the likelihood of someone trying something different

Each has the benefits.
long handle short blade is good for hitting as you get more leverage though your shots especially.
each to their own

^ What about overall SH length but 1/2 inch longer blade and shorter handle length? Is that bat good for punchier, driving style of play? You are looking at more mass/blade than leverage here.
Thoughts?

It depends on how tall you are it's an Harrow length handle and S/H Bat with an 1/2 inch shorter blade for me 32 1/2 inch bat overall

What's the benefit of that configuration? The shorter blade, longer handle assists with bat speed. How does a longer blade, ssh handle benefit a batsman?

Long blade with an SS handle will be the same overall length bat as a normal S/H 33 1/2 inches it's usually suitable for a player who is between 5 FT 10 and 6 FT 2 inches.

interesting that you don't even include long blade, which is the best option for so many club players.

Long blade is a different beast altogether.
Just curious around the relationship between blade and handle length of a standard size bat.

surely we should challenge assumptions about what is "standard">?
