Can I just ask (with no axe to grind and totally innocently) why people need G1 middling bats?

There is no point middling the ball through cover point and still having to run an imaginary 3 because your g2 lacks the performance of a g1

Not being funny that seems a hell of a lot of money for a middle bat I really can't see to many people who will shell out that sort of money for s middle bat

Each to there own I suppose, had a few requests and sales this last week in the shop so made a couple extra - I guess the Forum might not be the place for these, but thought I'd share.

We also do these in G3 for £75

Not the making and selling , if there's a maket why not, but that people are actually buying a cut down G1 to use in the nets, bizarre .

I think you could make an eye in bat look like grade 1 out of lower end clefts though, as if your only use half the width of the cleft surely you could just cut out wobbly grains etc and make it look a lot nicer than a full size bat would? Not saying B3 have done this just stating that someone could do it
