Title: Ebay GN dynadrive
Post by: i12breakfree on September 16, 2016, 05:31:34 PM
My experience with GN bats has been really bad. Haven't had one that matches that top level performance.
So when this dynadrive bat showed up on eBay with claim to be owned by a pro player i grabbed it.

And i think it was the right decision. Along with great pickup and nice grains, the bat has top quality ping. The fact that its a used bat does help

Weighs 2-10
40 mm edges
Round handle

So here are the pics

First pic is of the state in which i received the bat

Removed the face sheet , removed the residual glue and one round of sanding

After more fine rain light sanding

and finally with new facesheet

This last couple of weeks  used bats on EBay have sold  for  big money for a GN Quantum went for 76.00 and a chris  king Kaboom for £182.00 maybe it's because the number of bats on there has fallen.

@Seniorplayer - £182 for a custom made GN??? Hardly big money!! I'd call that an absolute bargain lol

Yes the price went high and I had a higher limit which it touched. I had expected the bidding not to reach that limit though. Still glad to get a pinging GN.

I bought the quantum for £76. When I  removed the grip the handle was cracked, the guy gave me a full refund, top ebayer imo. Also let me keep the bat to give to a local charity shop in case anyone wants to get it repaired.

@i12breakfree Are you going to refurb yourself or at send to GN?

i am in USA. So sending back to GN is going to be expensive. I have done refurb myself by cleaning the face and putting a new face sheet. Don't think more clean up is required.

Ah Sweet. The nail polish on the stickers is a good one to get off all the marks and excess glue.
