Hi guys,
Just wanting some advice on getting some bat stickers made up. The ' Top Boys ' seem to be Adcal Labels. What kind of minimum order quantity/minimum order (price) do these guys require?
Do any of the forum sponsors or members have any experience of companies who offer smaller runs of stickers which are of a high quality and at a reasonable price point?
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy.

Adcal if I recall have a minimum order of 25/30 cost will depend on colours and embossing etc
-
Adcal print good quality, but it is pricey compared to others - just depends what sort of quantities you're looking to order (minimum was 25 per order, worked out about £9 a sheet).
Oh and if you want embossing, it'll jump up...

Thanks mate. Which other companies actually offer this service?

I've been ordering from Adcal recently, in quantities of 10 sheets. I only have 2 labels, 1 each at the top of front and back, so I get 2 sets per printed sheet. The first set is quite expensive, because of the charges for initial set ups. Re-orders of existing artwork are considerably less expensive. Bear in mind that I am not a big commercial operation, so I'm not fighting for every £ of margin. The quality is excellent, and their service is very friendly. Once on the bat, the print is not scuffed or damaged by the ball.

Thanks for your help mate. Did Adcal help with the design or is this service at an additional cost? Do you have any pics already posted on the forum?

I made my designs using Powerpoint, saved them as a pdf and sent the file to Adcal. They tidied the artwork up for me and sent me back a press-ready proof. I asked them to adjust a couple things, then gave the go-ahead. Tidying the art cost an extra £10, which is extremely reasonable. You can see a couple of images on my most recent postings in the Bat Making section. They are simple designs, Black and Gold, no embossing. I have revised them slightly for a second set which I will post up in a few days time. Hopefully now I won't change again, and thus reduce the cost for reordering. Best of luck with yours.

Don't think you'll get a smaller run than 30 or so without incurring a hefty surcharge.
Lots of stickers are made in India at superb prices and qualities, but larger orders are needed for it to be worthwhile for all parties.
Overall Adcal is probably your best bet.

Thanks again. :)

Time for a bit of thread revival!
I've always traditionally used either Adcal or RHTI, but does anyone else know of anywhere UK based that does a good service? I'm only after a limited run, and don't really fancy forking out for Adcal (RHTI would be perfect but it's only cost effective for a larger run which I don't need until towards the end of the year!).

I use Adcal, who do deliver great quality, yes, for a price. I order 10 sheets at a time, which covers 20 bats - I just have Front and Back labels at the splice.
A friend of mine got some from these guys (link below), in Colchester - contact Richard. They are very capable, good quality labels and good pricing. But, they don't offer metallic inks, which is why I haven't used them personally. If you look up 'Siege Cricket Bat Refurbishment' on Facebook there are some images of the labels that he got.

Thanks @JK Lewis - I'll take a look! The new designs I'm playing about with don't have any metallics on so that could work actually.
