Was just reading about the new concussion rules in Oz which I think are a very good idea and how they have already been implemented in one of the Sheffield Sheild games. If a player is hit on the lid and gets concussion as a result the player is forbidden from playing and further part in the game and must be replaced by a "like for like" player.

Happened in tonights matador cup semi between victoria & nsw hughes was clocked by siddle underwent a concussion test & told no more participation in the game he was then replaced it was a huge moment with siddle visibly upset & had to take a few moments to compose himself to bowl again what a legend he is a true champion of the sport
