Title: The return of the Super Sub (Sort of)
Post by: Calzehbhoy on October 21, 2016, 12:21:14 PM
Was just reading about the new concussion rules in Oz which I think are a very good idea and how they have already been implemented in one of the Sheffield Sheild games. If a player is hit on the lid and gets concussion as a result the player is forbidden from playing and further part in the game and must be replaced by a "like for like" player.

Good.

I like it when common sense gets applied in cricket.

Happens so rarely these days.

Happened in tonights matador cup semi between victoria & nsw  hughes was clocked by siddle underwent a concussion test & told no more participation in the game  he was then replaced     it was a huge moment with siddle visibly upset & had to take a few moments to compose himself to bowl again     what a legend he is a true champion of the sport
