I love GN stuff but their shoes never grabbed me. Just seem a bit boring or low grade compared to the rest of their range.

I've only ever tried on a pair of Gray Nicolls shoes, never actually owned a pair.
They weren't uncomfortable, but they weren't as nice as the Asics ones  I ended up buying either.

With the crazy prices the actual "shoe manufacturers" (Asics, New Balance, Adidas, Puma etc.) charge for their spikes now, the Kookaburra, Gray Nicolls and Gunn & Moore footwear is suddenly looking a much more appealing prospect for those on a tighter budget.

Really like the look of those, nice and understated.

Remember buying GN shoes when they first started doing them they were quite poor and didn't improve much over the next few years but the 2015 and 16 spikes were an improvement and these look okay.
