Title: Glove recommendations - NV Pro lookalikes
Post by: KPittman on October 27, 2016, 08:54:43 AM
Hello all

For the last 2 seasons I've been using the beautiful Hell 4 Leather NV Pro gloves, happy as you like, but on a recent tour to Budapest, after seeing some of the kit that our opposition was using, I decided that I'd get myself some good karma by leaving them my softs. Obviously it's also as good an excuse as any to then get some new gear! I was wondering if anyone on here knows of gloves that are pretty much identical builds to the NV Pros? I'm waiting to see what the Fifty50s look like but if anyone else has any ideas then I'm all ears!

Thanks

Any of the h4l gloves tbh I've got the customs and will either be getting those again  or the fifty50s depending on what they're like!

I think @hell4leather cricket  might have a few nv pro left via he website but not 100% sure

I think the NV Pro gloves were out of stock as half price for that quality was too much for most of us to resist!!
The 5050 gloves are superb....far better when yu see them in the flesh to be honest. And they are so comfy too.
If there is room in your life for some blue, then 5050 are surely for you! ;)

I've got an ST Avenger stickered up with bright pink, ebay New Balance stickers as well as spikes that look like this: http://bit.ly/2eJax1Z (http://bit.ly/2eJax1Z) so colour is not something I'm too fussed about!

I don't think I'll be the only one on the forum to recommend GN Prestige gloves. For a sausage glove they are very flexible from the start.

The 50/50 gloves are amazing.

There were some batas gloves floating around on Sunday, also very nice for only 30!

I second that; I procured myself a set a couple of weeks ago and for that price, you can't complain; Pittard palms if you're into that, and pretty comfortable from the outset; remind me a lot of the Focus GTS gloves but an all white version.

Have a look here. There are a few of similar design - http://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/batting-gloves-3-c.asp (http://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/batting-gloves-3-c.asp)

I would recommend the Helygen Patriot, G&F, Or Robert James if you like the H4L NV Pro's.

Would have bought the Batas if I didn't spot the RS in the UK.

Those RS are really nice, good choice IMO!  ;)
