Title: Bat knocking in...does anyone provide the service.
Post by: JTtaylor145 on October 27, 2016, 04:55:15 PM
Evening everyone. I've just moved house and I'm no longer in the position where I can knock my bats in. I've got three in the garage that need knocking in. Do any forum members or sponsor's offer a knocking in service?

Many thanks

JT

If 10 of us group together it only costs £6 per bat  ;)

I do but I am not cheap.

Lads at my club pay me 20 to knock there bats in, that includes oiling, but no scuff sheet.

People may say the price is ridioclous but that cos I hate doing it, but people are willing to pay! As it seems they hate doing it more(I put the majority of the money back into the club)

For 3 I'd do 15 a piece including oiling knocking in and scuff sheets, can also fit toe guards or shoo goo within that if needed

I'm looking at someone to do some knocking in for me as I assumed I'd done a decent job until my toe cracked during my first net session of the year. Could someone also recommend someone capable of repair work too?

If  you do decide to go with someone ask if they knock  in the whole of the bat face hitting area  as many just do the toe and edges
As for the toe damage that can happen even if the bats as been properly  knocked in.
