This is one for the cheapskates on here (myself included)
Popped into my local Hobbycraft the other day for something or other (Glitter, cupcake mix and other manly things), and saw they did a 'Silicone Glue' for £2.00 so I bought it, and lo and behold, it's near as damn it the same as Shoe Goo!
Not sure about how adhesive it might be, maybe the price is an indicator of the quality, but it's certainly the same sort of stuff.
I'll be putting it on the toe of my bat once it's re-furbed and hopefully it'll withstand Winter Nets on the hard indoor surfaces!

@tom line found something like shoe goo in poundland I believe
-
Indeed I did, almost identical in texture and colour and looks exactly the same when dry

But did it work?

Yes mate I'll stick it on a bat and bring it to the net in November if you are coming

Any sillicon filler is okay to use the stuff you get from DIY stores etc to seal around baths sinks smooth it before it drys

Poundland sllicone sealant is what I've seen and used
