Post by: oldfudger on November 05, 2016, 11:38:26 PM
 :D  :D  ;)

Visited Tai @ BB this weekend and after 2  1/2 hrs of sifting through endless styles. pick ups, weights of bats came away with these two fine examples plus some lovely pads and two pairs of gloves

All kitted out for 2017 season

Cant thanks Tai enough for his help, advice and patience, Top fellor

Can't see detail of pads but remind me of some of the M & H designs of the past?

Loving the look of that kit!!

I had a set of similar M&H pads, they look great and were quite light but i couldn't get on with the removable fielding pads

Looks like some lovely kit, nice white look with no doubt top level protection and performance from those sticks. Looks like a slightly shorter T20 style and normal SH is that right?

Dont think you can beat the clean white look

It's a good look but do feel it's now been done to death by every brand since newberys SPS models set the benchmark.

If we never fixed things unless they were broken we'd never move forward, Im all for repetition of a successful and classy design but would like to see some changes as well

That isn't targeted at BlankBats personally either just across the board of brands

Agreed don't get me wrong all the white/silver Softs look great but what the point of different if every brand has a set?

Exactly, agree completely they all look fantastic but I know see it as a safe option for brands and they just choose to do an all white softs as they know it will work, but there's so many know it tarnished the appeal a little to me at least just like all white/silver sticker offerings

Safe or Survive Million dollar question

Safe or Survive Million dollar question

It may be safe, but here is another million dollar question:
If everyone is doing a plain range of softs, if quality were equal among all brands why would you chose one over another?

Kit looks fantastic. I love the plain all white look of the pads. You can't go wrong with classic looking kit like BB.

Got to take both BB bats to the net wednesday against machine

Wow  :D :D :D by far the best bats Ive ever had, with very little knocking in the performance is brilliant and hopefully a little more improving to come

will get round to doing some close up and in action picture asap
