Just noticed that the boots for 2017 were released on pre order. The colours are very similar to last season but look quite nice actually.

Thought we noticed these on Tom Currens instagram when he was at the factory

Pick that name back up @Dunamis Cricket ;)
-
I remember seeing them in Black and White on twitter a few months back (I assumed they were a prototype pair or just photoshopped) but this is the first time I've seen the actual colour way.
-
Subtle changes this year it seems with blue and orange pantones and a blue sole plate.
-
I've had the two previous colour ways and these actually look good, I personally preferred last seasons colour way but this years don't look hideous, may have to consider getting these.

Think he means when they were at SSS warehouse picking out kit.

Would the white mid-strap have anything to do with clothing regulations at the top level..?
I recall a lot of the NZ team taping over the black strap a while ago. I'm sure that the second Southee image is a pair of normal Vectors and not the Mids (you can see a little bit of red peeping out.
The England guys have never done it as far as I'm aware though.

Same shoe as the 2016 model, just different colours.
I have some 2016 shoes in a few sizes, happy to weigh them

I'm not too sure that this is the case as many of the England players against Bangladesh and India have been wearing their vectors with the 2016 red power band. It could be certain countries implying these regulations. On a personal note the coloured powerbands to me looked fantastic last season and didn't make them not look right as many people actually complemented the uniqueness of them.
