Long shot i know but my club is in desperate need of new nets as ours are becoming too dangerous!

even £1 would help!
Thanks in advance

Have You looked into ECB grants/funding as this is where we got a fair chunk of ours from?

I'm sure our grants officer has already but we still need alot to get matched, and some require clubmark which we are working towards too!

They do, a percentage of every donation, that's taking a cut in my book!

as treasurer i obtained 50k from sport England for club facilities changing rooms perimeter fence ground equipment etc the whole process from application to getting approval took 4 Weeks followed by a further 12 weeks to get quotes in.
Maybe worth a try.

This!
Might be worth looking into what grants are available, through Sport England, the ECB & The National Lottery. It might come to nothing, but it can't hurt to look into these options, can it?

Good luck @Woodyspin

Cheers, not sure we will get much more from them as they built our pavilion pretty much 😂 im sure our grants man will find something!

Just a suggestion @Woodyspin , why not do an online raffle for a top of the range sponsors bat? £5 a ticket and all the profit goes to the club? I'd certainly buy a few tickets if I knew there was a chance of winning a bat.

We could always do this again although last time it was only offered to the club, might be worth talking to the committee about investing. We did raise £300 i think it was with a @Dunamis Cricket bat :)

@Woodyspin pm me your email address mate, I'll send you some of our possible funding links. May also have a fund available soon in line with our sports club ground protection programmes

It won't help you immediately, but this autumn I managed to get our club accepted onto the Tesco 'Bags of Help' programme, which recycles all the 5p's you pay for plastic bags into grant funding for community organisations. There will likely be another round in the spring. It takes a while, and you need to make a good pitch to get selected, but the 3 groups chosen get 8k, 10k or 12k grant. We focused on various ground improvements, benefitting the local community and our Junior section, as well as the club in general.
