Hi Guys and galls just a few photos of an SS Platinum reserve we had in the other day!! Beauty of a Bat and fantastic light pick up for such a meaty bat it weighs 2.9 but feels more like a 2.6 Supplied by Assad at AS Sports.[](http://i983.photobucket.com/albums/ae315/Wonderboyblue/IMG_0025.jpg)/img]

How much wood is in there for the weight?! Grains look quality too. Another cracker from SS.
-
Every Redback bat seems to look fantastic on this forum.
Looks as though SS are on the same level too - Lovely looking bat and excellent profile too!
In a word...............Quality! (or I coould have used 'Impressive')
-
SS are making some of the best looking bats in the world at the moment, every bat I have from them whether it's Kashmir or LE Willow is finished fantastically.
-
I have a Gold Edition that looks and feels like a beauty! And a reserve on the way next month!
And both look as good as anything in my collection - and to say that with some of the bats I have, is mighty high praise indeed!

2 Words...Bloody Stunning!
-
Still LOVE SS !
-
Yeah we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it!! Only thing close to its finish we have seen is a Redback and they are both ace bats and i think a couple of the coaches really took a shine to it. And Assad certainly picks out some nice bats. And SS could overtake the likes of GM and Kookaburra Puma etc if they keep making good looking Bats like this and hell they got it right with the stickers too as in my opinion Less is more!!

You are correct that SS have improved their brand in the recent years. it also makes huge difference that where are u buying the bat from. I take pride that all our bats are handpicked inc some of the English Brands. All our SS, BAS, Plain Bats, CA, MB are hand picked and some are even prepared under my supervision.
The process doesn't stop here, after that I check every bat against the customer specifications before posting.
Both SS and BAS bats are top quality as long as u buy export quality and from a approved supplier.
Regards
Asad

Have to say Asad you are a great chap and certainly came through with a good one and customer service second to none, i would definately reccomend you and any of the bats that you supply to anyone. And after seeing and handling it i was so impressed and like i said the only other bats i have seen anywhere close or equal in terms of quality is a Redback from Gary. As we had GM LE Icon and Millichamp and Hall plus about every other brand in last weekend with the level two coaches. Only two bats stood out and that was the SS Redback

great bat

Some of their bats are good no doubt, but SS has one of the worst customer service. I mean, forget it !!
-
SS bats look incredible, how do they mass produce bats to that level?
-
Lovely profile and the stickers look a lot better than other SS'!

Out of all SS bats the SS matrix model has the most amazing stunning looking stickers.
-
its not about the stickers though its the quality !!

I'm with Harry on this!
I actually quite like both the SS Gold Edition and the Platinum Reserver stickers.
In the past, the Asian bats have been good, but the stickers have always been overly fussy and nowhere near classy enough to catch the eye of buyers who put the looks of the bats and stickers over the performance!
But If SS can continue to improve the looks of the stickers, then I reckon they could get more sales! Certainly, they represent quality from a performance point of view, and some of those grains and profiles look superb. So if they can get the stickers right, they could really show some serious results into the non-Asian bat markets!!
I have 2 CA bats, and the first thinng I normally do is remove the rubbish stickers and replace them with nicer stickers. I have removed the AS V3 stickers too and will use other stickers on that bat. But with the SS Gold Edition I have, I haven't removed the stickers! And will be the same with the Platinum Reserve! Will have to have a think about it, as the stickers look quite nice!!

And it should be ablut the quality of the bats, and the performance of the bats. But there are so many people out there who look at the labels first!
I know that there are some great Asain bats out there, but it makes me think twice when I know that the first thing I will have to do is change the stickers as soon as I purchase a bat!!! And the genuine stickers are not cheap, so add another £25 on top of the purchase price for the bat!!
-
Bang on Pete! While the quality of the bat should be the most important factor, inevitably if the stickers are awful some people will be put off buying them.

SS have recently updated their website and have launched few new models and have changed stickers on some old models. Most of English Willow bats already had really good looking stickers but they have further improved the stickers.
