So, I got this bat.

Why does it have initials on the handle? I didn't steal the bat, I paid for it!!  :(

The GM range this year is just outstanding! Love the Mana, great shape and the stickers are insane!

@InternalTraining There isn't prominent now like any other GM to be fair. While the pressing is something I was surprised, as it differed from the previous GMs I had. This seems to be softer as it is taking indentations.

@Sivlar13 Their stickers have really been impressive. Ideally I would have loved Chrome but I got this off forum at a good price so this was to fill my GM hunger.

I too have that hunger, an 808 set is looking likely!

All GM bats have that sort of stamping on the handle, i'm not sure what it means, maybe ask @Perkins17

I spoke to the production manager a few years back and the letters he told me indicate year of manufacture

I could use some help here: how do "IH" or "GH" correspond to the manufacture year?

first letter is month would be my assumption

Have used it few times now, the rebound is good and I am sure it will just get better but I am unable to cope with the shorter blade length.

@brokenbat had advised me to go by where my top hand would be on the handle, I was going with bottom hand. Will try that out.

Always go top hand, otherwise it's like you're using a harrow.

You were so right!! I don't really notice it now.

I am impressed with GM this year, they have been much better than what they were in past.
