Don't bother if anything goes wrong you're on your own really are not the best to deal with

I got it off a team mate, traded for my adidas incurza pro, basically I've wanted an ss for a while but don't like the Ton branding
Used it in a handful of nets and it seems ok, not really used it enough to definitely say either way but it seems really nice out of the middle

@Australian fast bowler there you go mate

All three are pretty ordinary bats.
TON never has an exceptional pick-up, no matter what model.
And these Pintu shintus are some cheap Indian bats that are usually heavy for their looks and size.

So you've tried every single bat that's ever come out of the factory have you and none have picked up well? From your experience you may have not held a ton or SS that picks up well but I have and I'm sure many others on this forum have too. My friend also has a SM pintu that's very big for the weight admittedly the build quality isn't the best but for the money it's never going to be

I would deal with a retailer that you can trust. OLS seems too wayward with their standards for my liking.
I am sure there are more good to bad experiences from people but that is my thoughts on OLS

They are reliable if they have the stock. Make sure you ask for pics of actual equipment. If in stock, the turnaround is pretty good.

There MAY be a few very, very, very small number of exceptional cases but SS is way too much over rated IMO.
I have analyzed 100's of SS Bats in various weight categories, and found none that was anything special. ALL awkwardly stiff in maneuverability!!
Up till recently all SS models were in the same exact shape - only with a different sticker. No innovation - no exploration.
I don't even know what differentiates an SS orange vs SS Viru vs SS Gold vs SS Yuvi vs Mater vs platinum vs SS Special Edition vs SS Limited Edition vs SS 369 vs SS Matrix vs SS This vs SS That ?? I mean, what the heck ??
No SS Bat out 100's that I picked had a dream pick up. In contrast, small English boutiques like Redback cricket, Warsop etc regularly produce bats that are much higher in class, quality, performance, pickup, looks and handle stability. And DEFINITELY better looking stickers!
I do; however, except that the best bat I have ever owned is an SS. It is one of Saurav Ganguly's personal bat, BUT BUT BUT - I am 100% sure that it's only the SS stickers placed on his bat because the profile is totally different than the cookie cutter shape of SS.
So SS goes out of the window again.
And those Pintu Shintu, I don't even wanna waste my time on it.

@Australian fast bowler I have purchased 3 bats from Ajit at OLS and he is fairly helpful if you are prepared to give him time. He says he gets 1000 emails/ PM's on Facebook a day and I would believe it. If you purchase any the three bats you highlight then really the source is irrelevant. They are cheap bats. I have seen a Master 2000 do 800 runs in low grade District Cricket and it looked hagged and cracked up, but went like a train. Personally I find OLS specialises on Sareen Bats and whilst they are mid/low profiles they go well. If your worried about warranty or pickup stick to local shops because no online shop can get that right as it is such an individual thing. In my youth it was something a extra grip would easily solve. The warranty thing is like anything you buy overseas when on holiday, eg you look at savings not support.

Thanks everyone so far, i personally have had no issues with OLS in the past.
Was just hoping some forum members owned these bats to see how they came up, the deals seem very nice

I got a Master 1000 from Cricmart, maybe a year ago only to be used in Nets against balls I could not trust. Does that job well but thats all,
Mine was 2.8 concave typical Indian profile, middle is small but does ping well if middled, my handle has already become very whippy. certainly would never used a a match bat but ok for a cheap net bat.
Not one of my best purchases

Ajit takes his time to get back. I had to wait for a month to get my bat. I ordered MRF player edition but he suggested that I should go for SS Maximus. I paid £20 less than the listed price. It is a pure beauty!
All the bats that you have mentioned are decent for lower end bats. I wouldn't buy them for actual matches. My friend uses SS master 1000 for nets and it is decent.

I just recieved my SS Viper from OLS and have no issues with their service speed as I'm really fussy and Ajit is very patient finding me the right bat on budget.
Photo album and thoughts here.

Cosmetics and size wise, it looks very good for the weight and grade.
I am sure it will have that subtle stiffness in maneuverability that all SS bats have by default.
Looks like a good net bat nonetheless!

I am looking to order some stuff from OLS and this is my first time. I sent him 4 emails but no response and on facebook too. Do you have any alternate contact email id ? does anyone have his phone number?
