Title: It's back...Elite Edition Bat 2017
Post by: Ayrtek Cricket on January 02, 2017, 12:20:53 PM: Right then no time to waste as 2017 is going to be a monster year as it marks 10 years since I started up Ayrtek as my second business after leaving University in 2004.

To mark the decade of existence im relaunching our Elite Edition bat and Decade Edition Softs range to celebrate. As keen supporters and customers of the company over the last 10 years I thought it only fair to give CBF members an advanced look at the bat and its brand new aesthetics.

They will feature chrome, embossed and matte sections that aren't able to be fully displayed in digital format but rest assured I'm delighted with the design and think they will look every bit as good as anticipated.

Hopefully at least someone agrees and buys one 😂

We used Red way back in the CCC days to tie in with their colour scheme from 2004-2007, when our contract with them ended I started up Ayrtek and continued the red scheme but wanted something vibrant and new in 2010 when we introduced our bats range, the Green seemed like something no one else really hit upon at the time and it grab the attention against the white contrasted with it.

Other colours are obviously viable but as you say its a throw back to our most popular range.

Theres some elements on the stickers that arent clear from the pic as some carbon fibre weave has been included for good measure to tie in with the Raw helmets etc.

That is a shame, but as a top brand in the industry I am sure your have found someone just as good.

when will you be publishing a price list, and when will you hope to start taking orders?

I'd like to think so as I wouldn't want the brand name on anything that wasn't at the top of its game willow making wise.

Stickers were only finalised yesterday and hopefully underway as of tomorrow, hoping for a 4-6 week lead time on them in order to have bats available by the end of Feb for purchase.

I'll publish a full price list shortly as wife is glaring at me seeing as I'm not meant to be back to "work" until tomorrow 😳

Colours look lovely though, used Liam SCCC's Ayrtek bat back in 2012 and it was a lovely bat, picked up well and i hit a pretty big six with it!

I had that off him. lovely bat. Sold it to our opening batsmen, he averaged 75 with it, when I asked if I could buy it back he refused.

Always possible to leave the side sections off of specified when ordering 👍

I'll be using the same profile with marginal tweaks as we did back then too as it was hugely popular with clubbies and England players alike 😀

Yes I'm happy to look at bundle deals once everything has been finalised price wise.

G2- £239.99
G1- £324.99
Pro- £399.99

Bats will come with a Toe guard and single grip as standard as part of their quoted weight inc stickers.

Little close up of the rear sticker for you to enjoy below showing some of the details that will be embossed, chromed and matte lacquered to provide the finished effect.

Things are underway and hopefully we can get some pictures up ASAP of the finished article in all its glory 👍

Post by: Ayrtek Cricket on January 04, 2017, 04:50:50 PM: Few people have asked, Im VAT registered so anyone outside of the EU would automatically receive a VAT reduction when putting in the delivery address via the Webshop (once they are listed) or if purchased directly through me.

Fingers crossed the Bats will be ready to launch by the end of Jan as I've spoken to the printers are they are trying to prioritise printing the stickers. :)

Watch this space.....if anyone has any specific requests re weights etc then please drop me a PM and I can cater for this in our first bat order from the maker with any luck.

There's some rather tasty G2's in stock that could easily be passed off as a higher grade so get in early if you want to snaffle one up and be one of the first people to own once of the new range. It's hard to capture the details on the stickers in the pics with the gloss and Matte sections as well as the chrome and embossed parts.

Thanks, the profiles are very generous given the thickness of areas throughout. I'm trying not to get too attached to any of them as my nets start tomorrow but one 2.9 did pick up amazingly well 😳

Yes I keep picking up one particular bat and have to resist putting one in my kit bag. Very well balanced for theirs weights and size.

Also , bats look nice , best compliment i can give is to say they look very hel 4 leather-ish , but different. :)
