So after this year we now await the [Insert Brand Name Here] Test Series/Ashes
Could be beneficial though with an India and Ashes series to headline which are the biggest series in terms of money and reach.

Could this show once again that cricket in this country is losing its appeal?

Clubs and teams ect lose sponsorship all the time. Im sure they knew it was coming before the news was let out
-
they are bailing out of a deal years early.
could be a number of reasons for it........
but the obvious question is if it's a successful deal why would they.....
could be completely down the wrong channel but if you are a sponsor the market for cricket shrinks whilst the national team is on pay as you view TV.
it's a guess but maybe the exposure is not there currently. Less kids are playing cricket and less people watching on TV.

I'd imagine the above covers it entirely. I'm sure forum sponsors have more of an informed opinion on genuine number about even then, they might be doing well individually but their increase in trade is someone else's out of business.. every retailer can't keep increasing business in an ever decreasing market.

I thought it was due to the fact one of their rivals is taking over as shirt sponsor this summer?

I thought the new New Balance kit wasn't going to have a sponsor?

Natwest will be the new main sponsor from May this year according to Cricinfo, who also say that's why Investec have bailed.

Sounds likely, Waitrose unwilling to pay the 100% price hike the ECB were asking

No sponsor logos going to be on the fully cable-knit jumpers NB are bringing out
