Hi All,
After an unsuccessful experiment with an MSR bat, the middle is still to be found, I've decided to go more mainstream and plump for a GM Chrome L555. I like the profile and lower middle and a couple of teammates have GM's that go very well. Having looked around I'm unsure whether to go for the Signature, for around £130, or the 808, for £180. The 808 is described as being superior willow G2 but is there a substantial difference for the £50? Has anyone picked up a Chrome? And if so could they shed any light or give any thoughts pls?
Tks

I picked up the a 404 with about 15 grains, it was a half and half heartwood and sub £100, look around ask the forum sponsors and other shops if you have no luck and you'll find something nice for whatever price budget, I wouldn't limit yourself to those two grades as there are some special ones to be had in lower grades if you put in a bit of work

Great, thanks. Have just noticed your thread, that's a lovely bat for £100. Will have a good look around. Thanks again.

For me the Chrome range stands out from the other models.
