Title: Bat Prep Question
Post by: nudgemaster on January 13, 2017, 01:29:57 PM
Hi Guys

A little weird question and the answer maybe here somewhere!

I have just stated prepping a new bat by knocking in and if you run you hand on the face you can feel really small fibres across the face which appear to have lifted. These are visible under good artificial light. Does anyone know the reason for this and what is the best solution.

Sorry if this is a school boy question!!

don't think it's anything to get concerned over as whats  happening to the bat is part of the process  if you wish you could on completion of  the  knocking preparation give the blade a light sand using  a fine grit following the  blade grains
