Cheap marketing ploy for the kids to use in backyard cricket.

clever marketing ploy perhaps to shift the fugly/low grade willow and recoup some finances?

It's prob the product designer in me but I really struggle when this is being called an "innovation" by some people. Painted bats were done in the now infamous Stanford T20 all those years ago.

This just isn't cricket. Coloured gloves are bad enough and these are just abominations. These are only excusable in T20 and that's pushing it.

During the Stanford series I remember spray painting some horrible Kashmir planks and flogging them on ebay. It's a good way to get rid of those.

Did you sell them to Mr. A Stanford?
From the way they batted in the T20 for 20 Million game it looked like that's what he provided the England Team with...

Just been searching the web to see if I could get one of these (For giggles) and stumbled across this fairly recent news article. Seems to suggest Spartan have signed Alistair Cook? Surely not?

Just wondering if someone said "Spartan used to sponsor the England captian, eoin Morgan. And the report misheard it as "the England captain and eoin Morgan" and then never got it checked.
