Title: Anyone looking for an overseas for 2017?
Post by: wasted_talent on January 25, 2017, 10:23:07 AM
Just wondering if anyone is looking for an overseas player for this coming season in the UK?

My friend Abid Ali http://www.espncricinfo.com/pakistan/content/player/39950.html (http://www.espncricinfo.com/pakistan/content/player/39950.html) is looking for a club. He is a current First Class player in Pakistan. A top order batsmen, who can also keep wicket.

Played in the UK last year. Also has played plenty of games for Pakistan A. nice guy and a great player.

If anyone is interested, please message me
Thanks.

I think someone may have got some of them stats wrong.... 3000 of his 5000 runs are from 4's yet his strike rate is only 49?

He would struggle to get a visa this year as he would be classed as a professional

May have issues rotating the strike?

He can come over as a professional then most clubs up north in decent league have them pal

to be classed as a professional in most of them league he has to have played so many first class games the previous season in his country
