Title: Anyone know about Tazz Cricket
Post by: SamHeyworth on January 30, 2017, 04:35:04 AM
Tazz Cricket (New Zealand) has offered me a good sponsorship and they seem alright. Has anyone had experience with them before?

assuming your not a professional player, it will be a large discount they will offer on largely inflated gear.
You will get to tell your mates your a sponsor player and tazz get  more of there gear sold so it's a win win situation. As for the quality of their gear it will be a gamble

Few guys I know have had the sponsorship. Gear is fine but the stickers IMO let it down massively. Munro was sponsored by them and Ish Sodhi.

Their bats are "Aerodynamically Designed" so they must be good.

the guy imports his bats from pakistan, ive heard he gets the top end bats from the same supplier as CA. i know a few first class players with tazz and they just buy their own bat and put tazz stickers on them. most seem to be ok but due to the nature of tazz being a sticker company you can get some good and some bad ones. cant complain about the price though, especially if its further reduced by sponsorship.

The Tazz gear is good value for money. By no means the best on the market, but the softs are fine and the bats are a steady standard.

To me the gear looks average at best. The gear all looks Pakistani made. Pakistani softs are usually inferior to Indian made ones. Bats also are certainly not finished to the same standard and the fitting of handles can be questionable.

Even at 60% off I'd be inclined to buy a bat from a trusted UK manufacturer and pick up some cheap softs from Online Stockist.
