Title: Gray-Nicolls cricket bat stickers
Post by: laurencepickin on February 02, 2017, 06:24:28 PM
Hi there,
I'm looking to get some Gray-Nicolls stickers for my bats but I can't find them anywhere except from the Australian ebay but they only have an incomplete set of supernova stickers and Kaboom stickers. So does anyone know where there are stickers for sale?

I doubt they'll sell you stickers, but if you don't ask you'll never know.

If you send the bats to GN they'll refurb them apply a lamitoe you don't need and ruin a perfectly good bat and apply some stickers that say the bats aren't actually made by GN and the stickers are for cosmetic purposes

I have done but they said they won't send out stickers or sticker up a non-Gray Nicolls bat. So i'm really unsure as how to get them.

That's correct they will only sticker a GN bat and then only if you send your bat to them
They used to but stopped doing it .

The short answer is, you can't.

GN do the most work to protect their IP, it amazes me that any brand would be anything but extremely vigilant and strict about their labels/branding being available publicly, as there is the potential for genuine stickers to end up on ropey bats made cheaply in Pakistan and then sold as genuine.

Unless you send a bat to them for them to apply the stickers, you won't get any.

You may very occasionally see a genuine set on ebay that have been acquired via an unscrupulous sponsored player or former sponsored player, but thats it.

One of the main reasons why edge stamping came in & some other identifying marks , 3d printers make it easy to get an embossed set these days of almost any bat brand
