Title: Ayrtek grill on Masuri Lid?

Guys,

I'm trying to fit my Ayrtek Grill to Masuri lid, anyone had much luck and if so what holes?

I've seen a couple of pictures, but can't find them anymore, Thanks.

Im having problems as well. The gap between the ayrtek grille and the [masuri] lid is only 40mm. I would have liked it to be around 50. The pictures shows a larger gap. How can I do it?

Dont know TBH the one I fitted has a 55mm gap as pictured, and i obviously set to what hole settings I have put on there to obtain this.

it seems that the newer masuris have moved their front bolts so that the titanium grills we have make a small gap between the peak and grill. The ones pictured above it what we tested with the BSI previously and have a 55mm gap.

To avoid misleading anyone i would rather state that they are more suited to a Albion helmet that have people buy them and be unsatified.

Our new grill has different mounting plates and will give setting that allow a 70mm gap to be left between peak and grill. They are available from the beginning of February.

Bought dads masuri December 08 and have fitted the ayrtek grill on fine. On the setting so it is furthest away from your face, although the gap is still small

Glad to hear its ok, guess its down to personal preference. I apprecaite not everyone will be happy with them but hopefully those who are happy feel that they got a great deal on the grills at a good price.

options were to return the grille for refund or upgrade to newer version of the grille which allows for a wider gap.
