New England kit can't be far off then, I wonder if they'll release it for the WI series or the start of the English summer?

Also I hope companies who supply team kit offer NB as an option, would love my Saturday team to use NB :)

Clearly its the drip drip prior to the big launch. Does the new deal potentially mean that there will be a wider equipment range from NB for 2018?

By all accounts the new skipper is to be announced two days before they leave for WIndies which coincides with Stokes and Root being at Lords for a sponsor event. So expect it to be around the same time as the captain announcement.

Any sponsors able to get hold of this? @Vitas Cricket

Basically this.
That is why the ECB are holding off the decision, so NB get the best exposure.

The whites look decent enough

Could the trousers look any more seethrough?

What is so exciting about this stuff and why is it hyped so much?

Not entirely sure!? At least the Dunamis whites dont look see through

OK so heres the update. NB had looked at a 2017 launch for a full range of on and off the field teamwear which retailers will be able to offer to clubs, this has been put back to 2018 but in the meantime 6 big NB accounts have been selected to offer an very limited number of what are essentially samples for the now non existent 2017 range.

We won't be getting any NB whites for 2017, but barring any delays or changes, will be offering a full teamwear package as well as off the shelf whites for 2018.

Well they don't have my sizes cos I'm a big boy! As much as I have a love in for NB I'm not sure I could justify spending that sort of money on whites anyway.

A quick note on the NB whites...my feedback based on the australian release over the past 2 seasons:

- the pants are quite "see through"
- weirdly, the pants dont come with a draw string to tighten. Just a built in elastic band (like on a pair of compression shorts)
- playing shirt is great though

Anybody bought any of this stuff, I'm keen to hear people's thoughts before buying before this year's upcoming season.

I've ordered shirt/jumper trousers. Bought a size up with the jumper, it looks similar to the Adidas one which is a little snug. Shame there's no longsleeve either.

So yeah, got it all now. Shirt and jumper feel nice, the latter in particular being way nicer than my Adidas jumper which can get quite stuffy. Trousers come with a drawstring, but with whatever they're made with they feel ultra light to the point where you're wondering what on Earth is going on. Will have to try them on at some point or use them in a match to see.

Also they're more cream than white.

@rickjames are the trousers as see through in real life as the pictures?

Here's an average phone picture for you

On the face of it, the only see through thing is the pocket linings

They look far better than the CA trousers I bought off ebay- so see through that they probably could have been sold by Ann Summers!

Did we establish whether they are actually see through or not? What about on a wet day?

A guy at my club was raging when he got them, he hates the elasticated waistband, the colour and the fact the material feels like tissue paper.

Not impressed myself either
