looks like afghanastan are the next "IT" in cricket :L
Afghanistan's rise up the pecking order of international cricket continued on Sunday with a seven-wicket win over Ireland that boosted the war-torn nation's hopes of contesting an ICC final.
Victory in the four-day game ended Ireland's 18-match unbeaten run in the second-tier of world cricket. The Afghans now have a 14 point lead over Scotland in the group that determines who plays in the International Cricket Council's Intercontinental Cup final.
After playing for nine years in the one-day format, this represents Afghanistan's debut in multi-day ICC cricket.
Ireland has won the last three Intercontinental Cups, which is for ICC associate and affiliate nations, but is sixth in the standings.
The top two will contest the Nov 25-29 final.

Good news for Afghanistan cricket, theyve been doing quite well.
If they do reach the highest standard of cricket, i dont think many cricketers would like to go out to play in their country though.

No need to get so picky, I've never seen England live - I still rate KP and Broad as two of the best players. Never seen tendulkar live, still the best batsman around.

Sorry Leo i didn't mean Live as in watching a side in a stadium, i meant on a TV/computer such as highlights etc etc. I find it very hard how somebody can pass judgement on a side when they have never seen them play, you just cant.

Well lets just play nice guys ;)
