Looks like will be Wicket Keeping this season as our keeper who is captain has given up on Keeping due to old age. Been told that I will be Keeper this season.
So need bit of a helping hand with getting the right equipment especially gloves.
For batting I use youth size gloves so should I be using youth size WK gloves. And is protection level on both Men and Youth size same. Don't want some bulky inners or gloves. What inners and Gloves would you lot recommend? Also Indian WK gloves like SS and SG are their men size bit smaller then UK size as their batting gloves are. So that could be option to. Any help and advice please.

different brands and styles come up differently until you know what you prefer and what you dont I suggest you make the effort to go to a proper retailers and try as many youths and adults as you can until you find a pair that fit.

I've used the Newbery tour gloves in my limited keeping experience good for the fairly relaxed standard I play didn't feel a thing standing up to the seamers Newbery also had some in youth in sale on their website

Thanks guys for your opinions. Anyone else who could help.
Are Indian men size WK gloves a touch smaller then UK mens size? As their batting gloves are so anyone who has had any should know. Thanks

I had 1 set of SS wk gloves I bought from OS and they were smaller than UK mens. Unfortunately they were too tight for me and I moved them on.
I use (part time keeper) Puma wk and can't speak highly enough of them

I love the aero p1 inners. I wouldn't go back to cotton or chamois now. As for gloves I'm currently using a pair of B3's. I'll probably get another pair soon as they are starting to wear but am also considering some Pumas as have also liked them in the past.

Thanks for info. Think I be looking for something smaller then UK men size so Indian gloves might be the ones hopefully.

Would like to hear from @Uzi Sports as they stocked SS and BAS gloves.

Gray-Nicolls standard Mens WK gloves size tend to be a smaller fit in my experience.

Don't overthink it.

My recommendation from our stock would be

http://uzisports.com/wicket-gloves-cricket/cricket-wicket-gloves-Spartan (http://uzisports.com/wicket-gloves-cricket/cricket-wicket-gloves-Spartan)
http://uzisports.com/wicket-gloves-cricket/cricket-wicket-gloves-SS (http://uzisports.com/wicket-gloves-cricket/cricket-wicket-gloves-SS)
Need to check stock of TON/SS WK gloves which i will do tomorrow

I'm a keeper / batsman (LH)
I've used SS WK gloves and SG WK gloves, but couple of months back I purchased the new GN predator LE gloves (white and red beautiful look as well), and they are by far the best WK gloves I've used great fit very comfortable and good grip which matters the most. But it's expensive compare to the SS OR SG, for a regular keeper it's a great investment.
PS aero PI inners all the way
