Surely that can't be comfortable haha - looks like a cross between a cricket and lacrosse helmet!

Wish I'd thought of inventing a helmet that deflected impacts and used Carbon Fibre 🤔

Good to see innovation but I wouldn't say "extremely light" at 840g.

@smilley792 weren't you saying you'd only use a neck protector if it was built into the design?
Found a new lid for you mate ;)

Someone tell kylo ren that his darth vader helmet momento has been stolen !
And yeah , 840gm is not light !
I'll stick to my ayrtek thanks , that's the type of funky design I can get on with , this just reminds me how much I hate ice hockey .

Hang about.

I saw he price tag of MRP 4999 and thought, "Yep, expected it to be that expensive".

Then I realised the price is in INR. Then I realised this actually costs £50!

How can they make a Carbon Fibre helmet so cheap? Unless the build quality makes Shrey look like Rolls Royce?

Is it carbon fibre?

Surely not.

The materials alone would cost more than £50!?

Plastic covering to look like Carbon Fibre, typically used in skateboard and other markets.

I produced a hydrostatic dipped version of our premier range (Carbo Range) back in 2013 that gave the visual look of Carbon Fibre without carrying the price tag.

You couldn't buy the raw materials of Carbon Fibre for £50 to make the shell from let alone the finished product.

Dinesh Karthik used this in the zonal T20s..so did Murali Vijay. Physical appearance is a big aspect of helmets and this one fails in that department like the Ayrtek helmets.

We might see some more of the crown walkers in the IPL this yr.

I dont think we've gone quite as far as this one in terms of looks to be put in the same bracket 😳

Saw Dinesh Karthik using it when playing for South Zone in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Domestic T20 tournament.

Just google baseball helmets with a facemask and you will find a ton of similar products but mind you, the baseball batters don't wear them for more than 5 min. As an experiment, a friend of mine tried using a baseball helmet for cricket and he gave up after first 15 min!

Good to see the use of ribs and flares has caught on to aid in the structural rigidity of a helmet.
