Title: Gladiator

Purchased this recently from Procricshop in USA where i do my weekly practice session, Bat shape is little different from traditional SS bat shape with duck-bill profile.This one has spine running into the toe. It feels and pings really well. I know there is a name with sharpie at the bottom not looking at name i can say the bat will be good  as how it pings. Is the bat made for BINNY i don't know and i have no proof to claim it . Now coming to specs

Weight -2.9
edge - 40mm
profile - full
grains - as you could see
handle - very thin oval at bottom

We had received two of these and both had the same exact shape with the same name written on bottom.
Does it mean they were really made for Binny ...Dont know but for us to order more we have to send in the order as Binny shape Gladiator.

I could see him waiting anxiously as a customer ahead of him debated between a kahuna players edition and the Binny Gladiator....as soon as he picked the kahuna urmasti walks over picks the bat up and puts it in my office with a wry smile :)

Its hard to get these in different than the regular shape.

One thing I noticed is that Gladiator's in past used to have thick handles but recent ones have quite thin handles...As a result, out of the box, the pick up is not good in the new ones..After adding extra grip, the bat feels proper in hand but it increases weight..wish they had the thick handles as in past..

@ursmasti - I thought Laver & Wood with super short handle was your game ! When did you get this Gladiator? Is the one you nicked from procricshop before i could get my hands on it  :D

Maximus and Professional too has thin handle. I think they are doing it for all bats. And I only use 1 grip and inside that half length grip for bottom part of handle.
