Title: Stocking Aldred
Post by: The Cricket Boutique on March 10, 2017, 03:11:49 PM
Hello everyone.

Just to let you know, unfortunately we will no longer be stocking Aldred. Paul has decided to just sell direct as some of you may have seen on his YouTube page - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfQ7Jma1t-w (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfQ7Jma1t-w)

We are now offering our remaining Aldred stock at a reduced price to clear some room for another Bat maker that should be available over the next month  :D.

We only have limited Aldred stock so first come first served.

Butterfly One Bat £145 - http://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/aldred-silver-sovereign---butterfly-one-2lb-14-58oz-326-p.asp (http://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/aldred-silver-sovereign---butterfly-one-2lb-14-58oz-326-p.asp)
Batting Pads - £70 - http://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/aldred-23-c.asp (http://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/aldred-23-c.asp)
Batting Gloves (LH only) - £55 - http://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/aldred---mens-batting-gloves-left-hand-339-p.asp (http://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/aldred---mens-batting-gloves-left-hand-339-p.asp)

Thanks

On the description of the butterfly it says spine into the toe? That's questionably one of the biggest duckbills I've seen

I would have to agree with you. It does have a bit of a duckbill but the photo angle does exaggerate it a bit.

At £145 you could spend £20 on weight reduction to get it to 2.11. Thats closer to 2.9  :D

The shape changed to a duckbill sometime last year if I remember right, Silver Sovereign I have is spine down to toe. Description TCB got given must just have been the old one!
